When and how did Covid enter your day to day world?

On close down

What is the biggest way the lockdown has changed your day to day life?

Not being able to go out and meet other people.

What moment in Covid ‘life’ stands out for you / do you think you will always remember?

The quiet. No planes in the sky and very few cars on the road. Sounds of bird song and garden grass hoppers.  No junk mail.

What have been the good things about this period?

Good things have been the quiet and hearing the birds, and seeing the really blue sky because there are no plane fumes.

What have been the most painful aspects of this period?

Not seeing friends and going out.

What will you take from this time going forward?

Appreciation of small things, such as meeting friends for a “social distance” coffee, or glass of wine and a chat. Appreciation of our own home and garden and the lovely village that we have.  Heart-felt thoughts for people worrying about jobs, mortgages, money in general and for all the kids and students struggling with education.

Is there anything else about lockdown you would like to add?

Looking forward to “freedom” and it being over!
