When and how did Covid enter your day to day world?

Watched the TV news over a number of days and realised the inevitability of lockdown coming and what it actually meant for us around end of March.

What is the biggest way the lockdown has changed your day to day life?  Not being able to go out and meet other people.

Less shopping, more inventive cooking, more exercise - wonderful! A simpler life is another way to describe it.

What moment in Covid ‘life’ stands out for you / do you think you will always remember? What have been the good things about this period?

Day one in Scotland realised we were locked down, drank a whole a bottle of Cointreau in one night - I will never drink this again! Flippant but memorable.

What have been the good things about this period?

Learning how to Zoom! No aircraft noise, less traffic, more time to think and do the simple things.

What have been the most painful aspects of this period?

Not being able to attend a relatives funeral, not being able to see friends but phone, email and text did make up for this.

What will you take from this time going forward?

Remember that other people need smiles, contact and support and that all of that is free to give and should be the norm.

Is there anything else about lockdown you would like to add?

It was great to return home after 3 months away - Heydon is a great place to be.
